GROW YOUR SKILLS, IDEAS, BUSINESS, CAREER, AND COMMUNITY
OUR Mission
Mangrove Community Wealth’s goal is to help communities build wealth by offering outreach, education, coaching, and access to community investments in safe spaces. These tools are meant to help people build wealth that can last for generations. The first center, Mangrove FC at Flatbush Central, focuses on helping local entrepreneurs, artists, makers, workers, and organizations. The goal is to create a supportive space that celebrates the community’s unique strengths and cultural history.
Our mission is to use community resources to create economic opportunities and build lasting wealth through programs and spaces that are innovative, inclusive, and culturally meaningful.
Purpose
Our organization is committed to promoting community and economic development in low and moderate income areas, both locally and across North America and the Caribbean.
We do this by creating and managing spaces like incubators and production hubs that help local businesses grow.
We also serve as a platform for research on community wealth-building, helping to drive innovation in this field. Educational programs connected to these people are a key part of our work, ensuring that learning stays relevant to the needs of the community.
An essential part of our mission is raising and directing capital to fund community assets and projects. By working with other organizations that share our goals, we aim to support individuals and businesses using our facilities. Our services are always aligned with our core mission of building stronger, more resilient communities.
